Our Vision

Vision is expressed in the objectives of the association which is to be the voice of political science in Zambia and the institution of reference for the dissemination of knowledge in political science to both the academic community and the Zambian society at large.

Governing Council

A Governing Council comprising of a nine (9) member board of senior fellows and ten (10) Executive Members, elected every five years by the general membership is responsible both for long-term strategic and day-to-day running of the organisation.

Management

All administrative matters are delegated to the Executive Director, the Programmes Manager, the Accountant and other administrative staff. The Chief Editor and other associate editors manage the editorial policy of the Zambia Political Science Review, the Zambian Journal of Political Science and other publications.

Research Projects

The Political Science Association is committed to high quality and scientifically sound research. Research projects are led by Research Fellows who are responsible for various political research and policy analysis programmes. Each Research Fellow is responsible for a research area called a Thematic Area.

Publications

The Political Science Association of Zambia in collaboration with the University of Zambia Press is committed to publishing a quarterly review of political happenings in Zambia and the region. The articles will review key invents related to domestic politics and Zambia’s involvement in regional and international politics. The Journal is published after a double-blind peer view process and is accessible online (open access).
