About the PSAZ-EJAF Research Initiative

The PSAZ EJAF Research Project is a collaborative initiative between the Political Science Association of Zambia (PSAZ) and the Elton John AIDS Foundation (EJAF). The project aims to estimate the size and distribution of Key Populations (KPs) in Zambia. 

Objective 1

Conduct a comprehensive literature review to gather existing data on KPs in Zambia.

Objective 2

Design and implement a methodology to estimate the size and distribution of KPs in Zambia.

Objective 3

Collect and analyze primary data through surveys, interviews, and other research methods.

Ojective 4

Estimate the size and distribution of KPs in Zambia, including their geographic location, demographic characteristics, and other relevant factors.

Expected outcomes

Outcome 1

A user-friendly mobile-based survey tool for collecting data on government approval ratings

Outcome 2

Regular reports and updates on government approval ratings, including trends and patterns over time.

outcome 3

Insights and recommendations for policymakers and stakeholders to improve government performance and public satisfaction.

Outcome 4

Enhanced transparency and accountability in government, through regular monitoring and evaluation of public perception.
